Regaining Your Strength in the Struggle
So you're struggling? Or you have in the past? There isn't a single person on the planet that hasn't or doesn't struggle at some point! Today with social media you would think that nobody does though, right!? It looks like everyone's living this great life all of the time but the truth is that we all have felt overwhelmed, fatigued, worried, depressed or even filled with anxiety at some point but what is really important is that balance can be regained, with regular focus on the energetic part of you!
It's all energy, including you. That's what you really are, so to not take care of the larger part of you, to not maintain balance and only focus on your physical self, giving of yourself constantly (your energy) it's no wonder why we eventually feel the strain. We must all learn to top up our energy levels frequently. We must learn to partake in activities that balance and align our energies so that we can perform at our optimum levels and avoid excessive levels of stress, fear, anger and anxiety to name a few. These negative states of being only put stress and strain on our bodies, causing eventual dis-ease.
Why do you think you feel almost immediately calm and relaxed when by the sea or in the forest? It's because in these places, in nature, there is always balance and we connect with these energies causing alignment, balance and clarity of mind. Now I know what you are thinking, wouldn't it be great if we could all just sit by the sea or walk through some woodland and feel peaceful all of the time but we have lives and most of us busy ones! But let me let you into a little secret, you can still gain this level of peace and balance at home before and or after work if you so choose to.
One way I really love to do this and find massively effective is using breath work, focusing on the unlimited supply of air that is available to us 24hrs a day can really improve the quality of your life. Meditation is such a powerful practice to become acquainted with and is becoming super popular after being around for 1000's of years. Now let me be real with you, if you have never sat by yourself before in the silence you are in for a shock because it is only when you do this you come to really know just how full your head is and that you cannot stop the continuous flow of thoughts. Good thing is though it is not your job to stop them but to focus on something like your breath and allow the thoughts to become quieter and quieter which does get easier over time I promise.
The main thing is, is that over time you will become a calmer, more centered, balanced being and that's got to be a good thing, right!?
Alignment is made during meditation and there are amazing benefits to you physically, as well as mentally and emotionally. When you are balanced you feel at your strongest, like you can take on the world. You achieve things easily because you are naturally at peace and life flows at a manageable pace.
It's a win, win if you ask me.
